Western Slope Man Killed In Plane Crash

A western slope man is being identified as the pilot killed in a Douglas County plane crash. Glade Park’s Robert Marquis died when his small aircraft went down near Parker on Friday night. The pilot had just taken off from Centennial Airport and was the only person on board. The crash sent parts of the plane into a nearby home, but nobody on the ground was hurt. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
