Telluride Foundation Receives Grant

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration is awarding nearly $845,000 in grant money to the Telluride Foundation to boost business development. According to grantee, the project is expected to create or retain 23 jobs and spur over $630,000 in private investment. This investment funds the Telluride Foundation’s Advance West End program which proponents say will help the growth of small businesses and bring new economic opportunities to the region in the wake of the downturn of the coal industry.
