>LeMahieu Lifts Rockies Past D’backs In Ninth

(Denver, CO)  —  DJ LeMahieu drilled a two-run, walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Rockies past the Diamondbacks 5-4 at Coors Field.  Nolan Arenado hit a solo shot in the fifth and an RBI-double in the third for Colorado, which remains one-and-a-half games ahead of the Dodgers in the NL West race.  Wade Davis was credited with the win.

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies wrap up their four-game series with the D’backs today at Coors Field.  Kyle Freeland will get the ball for Colorado.  Arizona will send out Clay Buchholz.

>>Broncos Prep For Raiders

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are back on the practice field today gearing up for their showdown with the rival Raiders on Sunday.  The Broncos look to build off their 27-24 season-opening win over Seattle.  Case Keenum threw for 329 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in his Denver debut.  Jon Gruden and the Raiders lost 33-13 at home to the Rams on Monday Night Football.

(Centennial, CO)  —  The Avalanche report for training camp today.  The team will hold its first practice tomorrow.  The Avs begin preseason play next Tuesday hosting the Las Vegas Golden Knights at the Pepsi Center.

(Undated)  —  In local college football action on Saturday, Colorado hosts New Hampshire in its home opener, while Colorado State visits Florida.  The Buffaloes are 2-and-0.  The Rams sit at 1-and-2.
