>Brewers Walk Off Rockies In 10 Innings

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  Mike Moustakas singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Brewers edged the Rockies 3-2 in Game One of their NL Division Series in Milwaukee.  Charlie Blackmon and Nolan Arenado plated runs in the ninth to tie the game for Colorado, which beat the Cubs in the NL wild card game.  Adam Ottavino took the loss.  Game Two is today.

>>Avs Torch Wild To Begin Season

(Denver, CO)  —  Nathan MacKinnon’s second-period goal was the difference as the Avalanche opened the season with a 4-1 win over the Wild in Denver.  Carl Soderberg lit the lamp in the first, and Mikko Rantanen and J.T. Compher added insurance goals in the third period for the Avs.  Semyon Varlamov [[ SEM-yon  var-LAH-mov ]] made 20 saves in the victory.  The Avs

>>Nuggets Host Perth Wildcats Tonight

(Denver, CO)  —  The Nuggets host Australian pro team the Perth Wildcats tonight in exhibition action at the Pepsi Center.  It’s their only home game of the preseason.  The Nuggets are 2-and-0 so far with a pair of wins over the Lakers.

>>Broncos Continue To Prep For Jets

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are headed to New York to clash with the Jets on Sunday.  Denver sits at 2-and-2 following Monday’s 27-23 home loss to Kansas City.  The Jets sit at 1-and-3.
