>>Nuggets Slip Past Pelicans

(Denver, CO)  —  Jamal Murray and Garry Harris scored 23 points apiece as the Nuggets slipped past the Pelicans 116-111 in Denver.  Paul Millsap posted 18 points and Trey Lyles netted 17 off the bench to help the Nuggets improve to 5-and-1.  Nikola Jokic [[ YO-kitch ]] just missed a triple-double with 12 points, 10 assists and nine boards.  The Nuggets begin a brief two-game road trip tomorrow in Chicago.

>>Avs Visit Calgary Thursday

(Denver, CO)  —  The Avalanche are back on the ice Thursday night when they face the Flames in Calgary.  Colorado will then visit Vancouver on Friday before returning home.  The Avs sit at 7-3-and-2 on the season following Saturday’ s 3-2 loss in Minnesota.

>>Broncos Turn Attention To Texans

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are turning their attention to the Texans.  Denver will host Houston on Sunday.  The Broncos are currently third in the AFC West at 3-and-5.  The Texans lead the AFC South at 5-and-3.  In other news, the NFL trade deadline is today.  According to reports, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas is one of several Broncos that could be available at the right price.

>>College Football Preview

(Undated)  —  The college locals are gearing up for their next games this weekend.  Colorado visits Arizona on Friday night looking to snap a three-game losing streak.  The Buffs are 5-and-3 after starting the year with five straight wins.  Elsewhere, Air Force travels to West Point to play Army on Saturday, while Colorado State has the week off.
