>Avs Allow Three-Goal Third, Fall In Columbus

(Columbus, OH)  —  The Blue Jackets scored three unanswered goals in the third period as they beat the Avalanche 5-2 in Columbus.  Nathan MacKinnon and Carl Soderberg lit the lamp in the second period to tie the game for Colorado, which slipped to 2-and-1.  The Avs visit Buffalo tomorrow before returning home.

>>Nuggets Lose To Clippers

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  The Nuggets were outscored by six in the fourth quarter as they lost to the Clippers 109-103 in LA.  Trey Lyles posted 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to pace Denver, which slipped to 3-and-1 in preseason play.  The Nuggets wrap up the exhibition slate on Friday in Chicago.  The regular season starts one week from tonight at the LA Clippers.

>>Broncos Prep For Rams

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are on the practice field today as they get ready for their showdown with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.  Denver looks to snap its three-game losing streak.  The Broncos sit at 2-and-3 overall.  The Rams are one of two unbeaten teams in the NFL at 5-and-0.

>>College Football Preview

(Undated)  —  The college locals are gearing up for their next games.  On Saturday, 18th-ranked Colorado visits USC with first place in the Pac-12 South on the line.  The Buffaloes sit at 5-and-0 on the season.  Elsewhere, Colorado State hosts New Mexico on Saturday, and Air Force visits San Diego State on Friday.

>>Rapids Visit Minnesota United FC Saturday

(Commerce City, CO)  —  The Colorado Rapids hit the road this Saturday to visit Minnesota United FC.  The Rapids haven’t won an MLS match since August 11th.  They currently sit second-to-last in the West with just 24 points with three games left in the season.
