>>Broncos Fall To Texans On Missed Field Goal

(Denver, CO)  —  Brandon McManus missed a 51-yard field goal as time expired as the Broncos lost to the Texans 19-17 in Denver.  Case Keenum passed for 290 yards and a TD for the Broncos, who enter their bye week at 3-and-6.  Former Bronco Demaryius Thomas had three catches for 61 yards in his return.  The Texans just acquired Thomas last week.

>>Rockies’ Arenado, LeMahieu Win Gold Gloves

(Denver, CO)  —  Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado and second baseman D.J. LeMahieu have won NL Gold Glove Awards.  Arenado earned his sixth straight Gold Glove, while LeMahieu captured his third.

>>Nuggets Host Celtics Tonight

(Denver, CO)  —  The Nuggets are back on the hardwood tonight as they host the Boston Celtics at the Pepsi Center.  Denver has won four in-a-row after Saturday’s 103-88 victory over Utah.  The Nuggets sit at 8-and-1 on the season.  The Celtics come in at 6-and-3.

>>Avs Host Predators Wednesday

(Denver, CO)  —  The Avalanche are off the ice until Wednesday when the Nashville Predators invade the Pepsi Center.  Colorado is coming off an 0-2-and-1 road trip that ended with a 7-6 overtime loss in Vancouver on Friday.  The Avs are 7-4-and-3 overall.

>>College Football Roundup

(Undated)  —  In local college football action, Colorado suffered its fourth straight loss 42-34 at Arizona on Friday.  Elsewhere, Air Force fell 17-14 at Army.  Colorado State was off.

>>College Basketball Season Starts Tomorrow

(Undated)  —  The college basketball season tips off tomorrow.  Colorado opens up hosting Drake, Air Force entertains Johnson and Wales, and Denver welcomes in Maine.  Colorado State hosts Colorado Christian on Wednesday.
