>Avs Skate Past Pens

(Denver, CO)  —  Gabriel Landeskog scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period as the Avalanche went on to beat the Penguins 6-3 at the Pepsi Center.  Nathan MacKinnon and Carl Soderberg added goals in the final minute for Colorado, which won its sixth straight.  The Avs host the Blues tomorrow before heading back out on the road.

>>Nuggets Open Road Trip Tomorrow In Portland

(Portland, OR)  —  The Nuggets open up a five-game road trip tomorrow in Portland against the Trail Blazers.  Denver will also make stops in Toronto, Orlando, Charlotte and Atlanta on the trek.  The Nuggets have won four in-a-row to improve to 14-and-7.  The Blazers are 13-and-8.

>>Broncos Prep For Bengals

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos continue to gear up for the Bengals.  Denver will visit Cincinnati on Sunday aiming for a third straight win.  Both teams enter the tilt at 5-and-6.  The Broncos are coming off a 24-17 win over Pittsburgh last Sunday.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  In college basketball last night, Colorado pounded Portland 93-69, while Denver lost 88-72 at home to Northern Colorado.  The Buffaloes, now 4-and-1 on the season, will host Colorado State on Saturday.  The Pioneers are 2-and-5 and will visit Utah Valley Saturday.
