>>Nuggets Host Lakers Tonight

(Denver, CO)  —  The Nuggets square off with LeBron James and the Lakers tonight at the Pepsi Center.  Denver has won three in-a-row following Saturday’s 105-98 victory over the Thunder in Oklahoma City.  The Nuggets are now 13-and-7 overall.  The Lakers are 11-and-8.

>>Avs Visit Predators Tonight

(Nashville, TN)  —  The Avalanche play the Predators tonight in Nashville.  Colorado has won four straight after Saturday’s 3-2 triumph over Dallas.  The Avs sit at 13-6-and-4.  The Preds are 17-6-and-1.

>>Broncos’ Heuerman Out With Broken Ribs

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are losing a third tight end for the season.  Jeff Heuerman is out for the rest of the year with broken ribs and a bruised lung.  He was hurt during Sunday’s 24-17 win over the Steelers.  Jake Butt and Troy Fumagalli are already out for the season with injuries.  Head coach Vance Joseph also said yesterday that linebacker Shaq Barrett will miss two to four weeks with a hip flexor.

>>Broncos Turn Attention To Bengals

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are turning their attention to the Bengals.  Denver will visit Cincinnati on Sunday in the first of back-to-back road games.  The Broncos have won two in-a-row to get to 5-and-6.  The Bengals are also 5-and-6 but lost quarterback Andy Dalton for the rest of the season this past Sunday due to a thumb injury.  Jeff Driskel will start under center for Cincy.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  In college basketball tonight, Colorado State hosts Southern Illinois.  The Rams are 4-and-2.  Tomorrow, Coloradoentertains Portland, while Denver hosts Northern Colorado.  The Buffaloes sit at 3-and-1.  The Pioneers are 2-and-4.
