>>Broncos Hold Off Steelers

(Denver, CO)  —  Shelby Harris intercepted a Ben Roethlisberger [[ RAWTH-lihs-bur-gur ]] pass in the end zone with 1:03 remaining to secure a 24-17 victory for the Broncos over the Steelers in Denver.  Chris Harris Jr. also had a pick as the Broncos’ defense forced four turnovers in the victory.  Phillip Lindsay rushed for 110 yards and the go-ahead fourth quarter touchdown.  Case Keenum threw for 197 and a pair of scores as Denver improved to 5-and-6.

>>Nuggets Host Lakers Tomorrow

(Denver, CO)  —  The Nuggets are back home to take on LeBron James and the Lakers tomorrow night at the Pepsi Center.  Denver has won three straight after a 105-98 victory in Oklahoma City on Saturday.  The Nuggets sit at 13-and-7.  The Lakers 11-and-8.

>>Avs Visit Nashville Tomorrow

(Nashville, TN)  —  The Avalanche are headed to Nashville to play the Predators tomorrow night.  Colorado is riding a four-game winning streak after beating Dallas 3-2 on Saturday.  The Avs moved to 13-6-and-4.  The Preds lead the Western Conference at 17-6-and-1.

>>CU Football Loses Finale

(Berkley, CA)  —  Steven Montez had two touchdown passes but three interceptions as Colorado ended the season with a 33-21 loss at Cal on Saturday.  The Buffaloes finish the year 5-and-7 and will not be eligible for a bowl game.  CU went just 2-and-7 in Pac-12 play.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  In college basketball, Denver lost to Fairfield 86-85 in the Elgin Baylor Classic in Seattle.  The Pioneers dropped to 2-and-4.  They will host Northern Colorado on Wednesday.  Also Wednesday, Colorado hosts Portland.  The Buffaloes sit at 3-and-1 after Saturday’s 93-56 rout of Air Force.  Colorado State is back in action tomorrow entertaining Southern Illinois.  The Rams are 4-and-2.
