>>Rockies Double Up Angels For Sixth Straight Win

(Denver, CO)  —  Trevor Story doubled in a pair of runs to back seven shutout innings from Jon Gray as the Rockies doubled up the Angels 4-2 at Coors Field.  Gray struck out eight as he evened his record at 4-and-4.  Wade Davis posted his 14th save.  DJ LeMahieu singled in a run in his return from the DL, while Gerardo Parra plated the other run for the Rockies, who have won six straight.

>>Rockies Activate LeMahieu From DL

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies activated second baseman DJ LeMahieu from the 10-day disabled list yesterday and optioned infielder Pat Valaika to Triple-A Albuquerque.  LeMahieu has been out since suffering a strained right hamstring on April 27th.  Valaika hit just .103 in 28 games this season.

>>Rockies Wrap Up Series With Angels Today

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies and Angels wrap up their brief two-game Interleague series today at Coors Field.  Tyler Anderson will be on the bump for Colorado.  The Halos will send out right-hander Jaime Barria.

>>Avs Sign Shvyrev To Three-Year Deal

(Denver, CO)  —  The Avalanche have signed forward Igor Shvyrev to a three-year, entry-level contract.  Shvyrev was the Avs’ fifth round pick in 2017.  The 19-year-old spent last season playing in Russia.

>>Broncos Hold Rookie Minicamp This Weekend

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos will hold a three-day rookie minicamp this weekend.  The camp will be held Friday through Sunday.  OTA’s will begin May 23rd and run through June 8th, with a total of 10 voluntary sessions.  Mandatory minicamp is set for June 13th through 15th.
