>>Rockies Open Homestand Tonight Against Angels

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies open up a six-game homestand tonight with the first of two against the Angels at Coors Field.  The Brewers will come to town for four games starting Thursday.  Jon Gray will get the ball tonight for the Rox, who have won five in-a-row to improve to 20-and-15 on the season.  The Halos will counter with left-hander Andrew Heaney.

>>Broncos Hold Rookie Minicamp This Weekend

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos will hold a three-day rookie minicamp this weekend.  The camp will be held Friday through Sunday.  OTA’s will begin May 23rd and run through June 8th, with a total of 10 voluntary sessions.  Mandatory minicamp is set for June 13th through 15th.

>>C.J. Anderson Signs With Panthers

(Charlotte, NC)  —  Former Broncos running back C.J. Anderson is heading to the East coast.  Anderson has signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers.  He spent his first five seasons in Denver, running for 3,051 yards and 20 touchdowns while adding 859 receiving yards and four more scores.  The 27-year-old had a career-high 1,007 rushing yards last season.  The Broncos released him in April.
