(Undated)  —  Here is the latest sports news:  Rockies open series in New York.  Broncos hold rookie minicamp next weekend.  Rapids visit Sporting KC tomorrow.

>>Rockies Open Series In New York Tonight

(Flushing, NY)  —  The Rockies open up a three-game weekend series with the Mets tonight at Citi Field in New York.  German Marquez will take the mound for Colorado, which took two-of-three from the Cubs and is 3-and-3 overall on its current nine-game road trip.  The Mets will counter with right-hander Zack Wheeler.

>>Broncos Hold Rookie Minicamp Next Weekend

(Englewood, CO)  —  Up next in the offseason for the Buccaneers is a three-day rookie minicamp next weekend.  The camp will be held next Friday through Sunday.  OTA’s will begin May 23rd and run through June 8th, with a total of 10 voluntary sessions.  Mandatory minicamp is set for June 13th through 15th.

>>Colorado Lands Two Football Commits From California

(Boulder, CO)  —  The Colorado football team is adding a pair of recruits out of California.  Wide receiver Braedin Huffman-Dixon and cornerback KJ Trujillo have committed to CU’s 2019 class.

>>Rapids Visit Sporting KC Saturday

(Kansas City, KS)  —  The Colorado Rapids are gearing up for their road match Saturday at Sporting KC.  The Rapids have lost two in-a-row after Sunday’s 2-1 home setback to Orlando City SC.  Colorado is currently 2-3-and-2 on the season.  SKC is 5-2-and-2.
