>>Lyles, Padres One-Hit Rockies

(San Diego, CA)  —  Jordan Lyles took a no-hitter into the eighth inning as the Padres blanked the Rockies 4-0 in San Diego.  Trevor Story broke up the no-hit bit with a one-out single in the eighth.  German Marquez yielded two runs in five frames as he fell to 2-and-5.  The Rockies have lost five-of-seven after splitting the two-game set.

>>Rockies Open Series In San Francisco Tomorrow

(San Francisco, CA)  —  The Rockies are off today.  They will open up a four-game series with the Giants tomorrow night in San Francisco.  Chad Bettis will be on the bump for Colorado.  The Giants will counter with right-hander Jeff Samardzija.

>>Nuggets Get 14th Pick In Draft, As Expected

(Chicago, IL)  —  The Nuggets will pick 14th in next month’s NBA Draft, as expected.  Denver did not move into the top-three during last night’s NBA Draft Lottery, keeping them in the 14th slot.  They finished with the 14th-worst record in the NBA at 46-and-36.  The Nuggets had just a 0.5-percent chance of landing the top pick, and a 1.8-percent shot of moving into the top-three.

>>Avs Re-Sign Barberio

(Denver, CO)  —  The Avalanche are bringing back defenseman Mark Barberio.  The Avs have signed him to a two-year deal.  Barberio tallied three goals and 10 assists in 46 games this past season.  He missed part of the year with a lower-body injury.

>>Broncos Begin OTA’s Next Week

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are less than a week away from Organized Team Activities.  OTA’s will begin next Tuesday and run through June 7th, with a total of 10 voluntary sessions.  Mandatory minicamp is set for June 12th through 14th.
