>>Rockies Rock Phillies

(Philadelphia, PA)  —  Ian Desmond’s two-run homer capped a five-run fourth inning as the Rockies cruised past the Phillies 7-2 in Philadelphia.  Trevor Story added a pair of RBI doubles and Gerardo Parra had a two-run single for Colorado, which snapped a five-game losing streak.  Tyler Anderson fired seven innings of one-run ball to up his record to 4-and-1.

>>Rockies Sign First-Round Pick

(Philadelphia, PA)  —  The Rockies have signed first round pick Ryan Rolison.  The team drafted Rolison 22nd overall out of Ole Miss.  The Rox also agreed to terms with 25 other draft picks.

>>Rockies Face Phillies In Rubber Match Today

(Philadelphia, PA)  —  The Rockies and Phillies play the rubber match of their three-game series today in Philadelphia.  German Marquez will take the mound for the Rox.  The Phils will counter with Vince Velasquez.

>>Broncos Wrap Up Minicamp Today

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos wrap up their three-day mandatory minicamp today.   The team will then have some time off before training camp starts next month.  The Broncos begin preseason play August 11th hosting the Minnesota Vikings.

>>Rapids Draw With Fire

(Commerce City, CO)  —  The Rapids put an end to their eight match winless streak with a 2-2 draw with the Chicago Fire.  Tommy Smith and Dominique Badji scored for Colorado, which blew an early 2-0 lead.  The Rapids are now off until hosting Minnesota United June 23rd.
