>>Rockies Open Series In Seattle Tonight

(Seattle, WA)  —  The Rockies open up a three-game series with the Mariners tonight in Seattle.  German Marquez will take the mound for Colorado.  The M’s will counter with Felix Hernandez.  The Rockies enter the night three-and-a-half games behind Arizona and Los Angeles for first place in the NL West.  The Giants are also three-and-a-half out of first in the crowded NL West.

>>Broncos Sign Rookie Freeman

(Englewood, CO)  —  Broncos third round draft pick Royce Freeman is now under contract.  The running back out of Oregon signed his four-year rookie deal yesterday.  The Broncos now have their entire 10-man draft class under contract.

>>Nuggets Begin Summer League Play Tonight

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Nuggets begin Summer League play tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Las Vegas.  Denver will also face Boston tomorrow and Milwaukee on Monday, before being seeded in a tournament.

>>Rapids Visit Montreal Tomorrow

(Montreal, Quebec)  —  The Rapids are headed north of the boarder to visit the Montreal Impact tomorrow night.  Colorado is coming off a 2-1 home loss to Seattle on Wednesday.  The Rapids have just 15 points on the season, eight points out of the final playoff spot in the West.
