>>Three Rockies In All-Star Game Tonight

(Washington, DC)  —  The 89th MLB All-Star Game is tonight at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.  The Rockies’ Nolan Arenado will start at third base for the National League.  Teammates Trevor Story and Charlie Blackmon are also on the NL squad.

>>Rockies’ Story Named NL Player Of The Week

(Denver, CO)  —  Rockies shortstop Trevor Story is the National League Player of the Week.  Story hit .400 with three home runs including a walk-off blast against the Mariners on Sunday.  He’s hitting .292 with 20 homers and 68 RBI this season.

>>Rockies Off Until Friday

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies are off the diamond until Friday for the All-Star break.  They will open the second half of the season with a three-game series in Arizona this weekend.  The Rox are third in the NL West at 51-and-45, two games behind the first-place Dodgers.  The D’backs are just a half-game behind LA, while San Francisco sits four back in the crowded NL West.

>>Nuggets Officially Sign Thomas

(Denver, CO)  —  Isaiah Thomas is officially a member of the Nuggets after signing his one-year contract yesterday.  The 29-year-old played sparingly for the Cavaliers and Lakers last season as he returned from a serious hip injury.  “IT” has averaged 18.9 points per game over his seven-year career.  He posted a career-high 28.9 points a contest in 2016-17 with Boston.

>>1952 Mantle Card On Display In Denver

(Denver, CO)  —  A rare 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card is on display in Denver.  Worth several million dollars, the card arrived yesterday at the History Colorado Center for a 72-hour public viewing.  The card’s owner says he wants the community to be able to enjoy looking at it.  It’s insured for 12-million-dollars.
