>>Rockies Lose To D’backs Late

(Denver, CO)  —  Jake McGee served up a go-ahead three-run homer to David Peralta in the seventh inning as the Rockies lost to the Diamondbacks 5-3.  Arizona has now won nine straight at Coors Field.  Nolan Arenado hit a solo homer for the Rockies, who have dropped two in-a-row on the heels of a five-game winning streak.  Tyler Anderson tossed six innings of one-run ball in a no-decision.

>>Rockies’ Black To Coach In All-Star Game

(Denver, CO)  —  Rockies manager Bud Black is heading to the All-Star Game.  He was selected to help coach the National League by Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, who will lead the Senior Circuit.

>>Rockies Resume Series With D’backs

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies and D’backs resume their three-game series tonight at Coors Field.  German Marquez will take the mound looking to even up his record.  He is 7-and-8 on the year.  The Snakes will send out Shelby Miller.

>>Nuggets Take On Raptors Tonight In Vegas Tourney

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Nuggets will take on the Toronto Raptors tonight in the opening round of the Las Vegas Summer League Tournament.  The Nuggets went 3-and-0 in preliminary round play to grab the four-seed.
