>>Nuggets Top Heat

(Miami, FL)  — Nikola Jokc had his fourth triple-double of the season as the Nuggets topped the heat 103-99 in Miami.  Jokich went for game-high 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while Jamal Murray added 18 points in the win.  Denver is now 27-and-12 and sit atop the Western Conference.  They will welcome the Clippers to the Mile-High City on Thursday.

>>Avalanche Blown Out By Jets, Visit Flames Tonight

(Winnipeg, Manitoba)  —  Philipp Grubauer put in quite the lackluster performance against Winnipeg, as the Jets crushed the Avs 7-4 in Manitoba.  Grubauer stopped just 14 of 20 shots the Jets put on net.  Captain Gabriel Landeskog scored twice in the loss.  Coloradosits at 48 points, eight behind the division-leading Jets.  The Avs visit the West-leading Flames in Calgary tonight.

>>Broncos Down To Two In Their Search For New Head Coach

(Englewood, CO)  —  There are two clear frontrunners for the Broncos head coaching position, according to sources: Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak.  Fangio has coached for 32 years in the NFL between Baltimore, Houston, Indianapolis, Carolina, and New Orleans.  However, Munchak has experience as a head coach, as he was the head man in Tennessee from 2011-13.

(Undated)  —  On the hardwood, Colorado State beat up on conference and in-state foe Air Force 87-64 in Fort Collins.  The Rams will face New Mexico on Saturday afternoon while the Falcons will take on San Diego State.  Colorado will resume conference play when they host Washington State on Thursday.  The Buffaloes are 9-and-5 and oh-and-2 in the Pac-12.  Also in action Thursday, Denver will visit South Dakota State.

>>Rapids To Pick 15th In MLS SuperDraft Friday

(Chicago, IL)  —  The MLS SuperDraft takes place on Friday in Chicago.  The Rapids own the 15th overall pick in the first round.  The SuperDraft consists of four rounds, and Colorado has four total picks.  The first game of the regular season takes place on March 2nd when they travel to the Rose City and face the Timbers.
