>>Nuggets Hold On To Beat Davis-less Pelicans

(New Orleans, LA)  —  The Nuggets outscored the Pelicans by 14 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach at the Smoothie King Center, 105-99.  Nikola Jokic [[ KNEE-coe-lah yo-kitch ]] led the way with his eighth triple-double of the season, posting 20 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.  Malik Beasley had a game-high 22 points off the bench and Monte [[ MON-tay ]] Morris added 20 points, seven boards and seven assists.  Denver extends its winning streak to four.  The team’s 35-15 record is the best in franchise history after 50 games. The Nuggets are home tomorrow night against the Rockets.

(Denver, CO)  —  Colorado will welcome Vancouver to town Saturday.  The Avalanche lost their last two games going into the All-Star Break.  The Avs have 52 points and own the second wild card spot in the West.

>>Colorado Faces Beavers Tonight

(Boulder, CO)  —  The Buffaloes will host the Oregon State Beavers tonight in a Pac-12 showdown.  Colorado sits at 11-and-8 and 2-and-5 in the Pac-12.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  In other college basketball action, Air Force lost to the Aztecs in San Diego, 66-51.  Lavelle Scottie scored a game-high 28 points in the loss.  The loss snapped the Falcons two-game winning streak.  They are 4-and-5 in the Mountain West and 9-and-12 overall.  Denver will host South Dakota State on Sunday.  Colorado State will face off with the Air Force in Colorado Springs Saturday.
