>>Nuggets Face Off With Pelicans Tonight

(New Orleans, LA)  —  The Nuggets will travel to Louisiana tonight to take on the Pelicans.  Denver has won three-straight and five of six to sit just a game-and-a-half behind the Warriors for best record in the West.  The Pelicans will be without Anthony Davis, who is out until Saturday with a finger injury, and potentially Julius Randle, who missed Tuesday’s win against the Rockets.  Also missing from the Pels’ win over the Rockets were Nikola Mirotic, E’Twaun Moore, and Elfried Payton.  Jamal Murray has been ruled out for the Nuggets with an ankle injury.  The Nuggets return home Friday to face the Rockets.

>>Avalanche To Host Canucks Saturday.

(Denver, CO)  —  Colorado will welcome Vancouver to town Saturday.  The Avalanche lost their last two games going into the All-Star Break.  The Avs have 52 points and own the second wild card spot in the West.

>>Denver Ranked As 13th Best Football City

(Undated)  —  Denver is ranked number 13 in WalletHub’s best football cities in America.  The city is the fourth-highest ranked west of the Mississippi, behind number eight Oakland, number 10 Seattle, and number 12 Glendale, Arizona.  The methodology gave significantly more weight to cities with professional teams than college teams.  Other Colorado cities on the list were ColoradoSprings ranked at 115, Boulder at 187, Greeley at 189, and Fort Collins at 221.  Pittsburgh was ranked number one.

>>Buffaloes Looks To Change Fortunes Against Oregon State

(Boulder, CO)  —  The Buffaloes will host the Oregon State Beavers tomorrow night in a Pac-12 showdown.  Colorado sits at 11-and-8 and 2-and-5 in the Pac-12.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  In other college basketball action, Colorado State fell to Boise State 70-68 at home.  Justinian Jessup had 20 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Broncos, who beat the Rams for a fifth-straight time.  The Rams fall to 3-and-5 in the Mountain West and 8-and-13 overall.  They will face off with the Air Force in Colorado Springs Saturday.  Before then, the Falcons will travel to San Diego State tonight.  Denver will host South Dakota State on Sunday.
