>Nuggets Lose In Brooklyn; Murray Returns

(Brooklyn, NY)  —  The Nuggets put up 43 points in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough as they lost to the Nets 135-130 in Brooklyn.  Nikola Jokic posted 25 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for Denver, which has lost two in-a-row since a six-game winning streak.  Jamal Murray had 19 points and 11 assists in his return to the lineup.  He missed six games with a sprained left ankle.  The Nuggets wrap up their four-game road trip tomorrow in Philadelphia.

>>Avs Begin Road Trip Tonight In Washington

(Washington, DC)  —  The Avalanche begin a three-game East Coast road trip tonight in DC against the Washington Capitals.  Coloradowill also visit the Islanders and Boston this weekend.  The Avs wrapped up a 1-and-4 homestand with four straight losses after Tuesday’s 6-3 setback to Columbus.  The Avalanche currently sit two points out of the second Wild Card in the West.

>>Rockies Invite Mark Reynolds, Others To Camp

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies are inviting veteran slugger Mark Reynolds to spring training as a non-roster invitee.  He was one of several players the team announced yesterday that were invited to camp.  Reynolds played two seasons with the Rockies in 2016-17, before joining Washington last year.  The 35-year-old has 294 career home runs.  Pitchers and catchers report next week.

>>Colorado Football Class Ranks 44th

(Undated)  —  National signing day is in the books.  Colorado’s class ranks 44th in the nation, according to  Colorado State ranks 85th, while Air Force is 103rd.  Alabama has the top-rated class, followed by Georgia and Texas.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  In college basketball action last night, Colorado beat UCLA 84-73 in Los Angeles, Colorado State was crushed by sixth-ranked Nevada 98-82, and Air Force slipped past Wyoming 81-76.  Denver visits Oral Roberts tonight.
