>>Nuggets Face Off With Pistons Tonight

(Detroit, MI)  —  The Nuggets continue their four-game road trip tonight as they take on the Pistons in Detroit.  Denver won last time out, beating Minnesota 107-106 on Saturday.  The Nuggets have won six straight and are tied for the top-spot in the West with the Warriors.

>>Avalanche To Face Blue Jackets Tomorrow

(Denver, CO)  —  The Avalanche will welcome the Blue Jackets to town in just their second game back from the all-star break tomorrow.  Colorado has lost three straight, including Saturday night’s tilt against the Canucks, 5-1, at the Pepsi Center.  The Avs have 52 points on the season.

>>Rapids Lose Their First Preseason Tilt

(Bradenton, FL)  —  The Rapids closed out the first half of training camp with a loss to FC Cincinnati 1-0 in Bradenton, Florida.  Off-season signee Benny Feilhaber had a pitch-perfect pass to Kendall Watson in the 21st minute.  Following a foul to Watson, Feilhaber’s free kick hit the post.  The Rapids will resume preseason camp on Wednesday in Chula Vista, California.  Colorado will meet the University of San Diego in a friendly on Saturday.

>>Former Bronco Champ Bailey Elected To Hall Of Fame

(Atlanta, GA)  —  Former Bronco Champ Bailey was among those chosen for enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.  He was elected along with Tony Gonzalez, Ed Reed, Kevin Mawae [[ ma-WHY ]] , and Ty Law.  Bailey spent 10 years with the Broncos and led the league in interceptions in 2006.  He was a 12-time Pro Bowler in his time between Washington and Denver.

>>Colorado To Visit UCLA Wednesday

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  Colorado will travel to LA to take on UCLA Wednesday at Pauley Pavilion.  The Buffaloes got a rare conference win when they topped Oregon 73-51 on Saturday.  The Buffs are 3-and-6 in the Pac-12 and 12-and-9 overall.

(Undated)  —  Elsewhere on the hardwood, Colorado State will face off with number seven Nevada on Wednesday.  They beat Air Force on Saturday 85-53 in Colorado Springs.  Nico Carvacho scored 20 points and had 14 rebounds for the Rams.  A.J. Walker was the only Falcon in double-figures, scoring 14 in the loss.  Air Force will welcome Wyoming to town on Wednesday.  Denver will travel to Tulsa to face Oral Roberts on Thursday.  The Pioneers have lost two in a row, including a 92-82 loss to South Dakota State on Saturday.  David Nzekwesi scored 21 off the bench for Denver.  The game was noteworthy because Jackrabbit-standout Mike Daum passed Larry Bird on the Division One all-time scoring list.
