>>Nuggets Host Rockets Tonight

(Denver, CO)  —  The Nuggets will return to action tonight when they host the Rockets.  Denver is off to a 35-15 star, which is a franchise best through 50 games.  The Nuggets have won four straight games.  Houston enters the contest at 29-and-21.

>>Nikola Jokic Named All-Star Reserve

(Denver, CO)  —  Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was named a Western Conference All-Star reserve.  Jokic will represent Denver at the NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte on February 17th.  He will be selected be either Team LeBron or Team Giannis in the NBA All-Star Draft.

>>Nolan Arenado Gets Record 26-Million In Arbitration

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies and third baseman Nolan Arenado have settled at a record 26-million-dollars in arbitration.  Arenado originally asked for 30-million while the Rockies countered at 24-million.  The two sides have met in the middle to create history with the largest deal for a player ever in the arbitration process.  Arenado is a four-time All-Star and has won the Gold Glove six times, which is every year he has been in the league.

>>Avalanche Welcome Canucks To Town Tomorrow

(Denver, CO)  —  The Avalanche are back on the ice tomorrow when they host the Canucks.  Colorado is fifth in the Central Division with 52 points.  Vancouver enters play at fourth in the Pacific Division with 52 points.  Both teams are in the mix for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

>>Colorado Hoops Falls To Oregon State

(Boulder, CO)  —  The Buffaloes fell just short with a 76-74 loss to Oregon State at home.  Colorado fell to 11-and-9 on the season.  The Buffs will be in action tomorrow when they host Oregon.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  Elsewhere in college basketball action, Colorado State and Air Force will collide in Colorado Springs tomorrow.  Denver will host South Dakota State on Sunday.
