>Nuggets Edge Raptors For Sixth Straight Win

(Toronto, Ontario)  —  Nikola Jokic [[ YO-kitch ]] made three free throws in the closing seconds to lift the Nuggets past the red-hot Raptors 106-103 in Toronto.  Jokic posted a triple-double with 23 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds as Denver won its sixth straight while ending Toronto’s eight-game winning streak.  The Nuggets resume their five-game road trip tomorrow in Orlando.

>>Avs Resume Road Trip Tonight In Pittsburgh

(Pittsburgh, PA)  —  The Avalanche continue their four-game east coast road swing tonight in Pittsburgh against the Penguins.  Colorado started the trek with a 2-0 shutout of the Red Wings on Sunday in Detroit.  The Avs have earned at least a point in 11 straight games and sit at 16-6-and-5 on the year.  The Pens are 10-10-and-5.

>>Broncos Turn Attention To 49ers

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are turning their attention to the 49ers.  Denver will visit San Francisco on Sunday looking to extend its winning streak to four straight.  The Broncos beat the Bengals 24-10 in Cincinnati this past Sunday to even their mark at 6-and-6.  The Niners are tied with the Raiders for the worst record in the NFL at 2-and-10.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —  In local college basketball action, Colorado hosts South Dakota tonight.  The Buffaloes sit at 5-and-1 on the season after beating Colorado State 86-80 on Saturday in Boulder.  The Rams host Arkansas tomorrow.  Denver visits Air Force, also tomorrow.
