>>Rookie Lindsay Done For Season

(Englewood, CO)  —  Exams from the Broncos’ medical staff revealed ligament damage in running back Phillip Lindsay’s right wrist.  He has been ruled out for Sunday’s season finale against the Chargers and the Pro Bowl.  The undrafted rookie from Colorado finishes the season with one thousand and thirty seven yards rushing and nine touchdowns.

>>Broncos Take On Chargers Sunday In Finale

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos will take on the Chargers in their season finale at Mile High Sunday.  Denver is on a three-game losing streak, which was preceded by a three-game winning streak, including a 23-22 win over the Chargers in LA in Week 11.

>>Nuggets Take On Spurs Tonight

(San Antonio, TX)  —  Denver will take on the Spurs tonight in San Antonio.  The Nuggets own the best record at 21-and-10 in the West.  Denver lost its last time out against the Clippers to end a four-game winning streak.  The Nuggets will host the Spurs on Friday.

>>Avalanche Take On Vegas Tomorrow

(Denver, CO)  —  Colorado returns to the ice tomorrow against the Golden Knights in Las Vegas.  The Avalanche have lost six of their last eight.  They are third in the Central Division with 44 points.  They will be back home Saturday against Chicago.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(Undated)  —   In area college basketball yesterday,  Colorado beat Charlotte 68-53 in the seventh-place game of the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu.  The Buffaloes improved to 9-and-3 and do not play again until opening Pac-12 play on January 3rd at Arizona.  On Friday:  The Air Force Academy will take on Cal-Riverside at home and Denver will be at Omaha to start Summit League play.  Saturday: Northern Colorado will be at Sacramento State to begin Big Sky play.  Sunday:  Colorado State will host New Mexico State.
