>>Rockies Two-Hit Pirates

(Denver, CO)  —  Kyle Freeland and two relievers combined on a two-hitter as the Rockies blanked the Pirates 2-0 in Denver.  Freeland moved to 10-and-7 with the win and Wade Davis closed it out for his 32nd save.  Gerardo Parra and Chris Iannetta plated runs in the fifth inning as Colorado won its second straight on the heels of a four-game skid.

>>Rockies Resume Series With Bucs

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies and Pirates resume their three-game series tonight at Coors Field.  Chad Bettis will get the ball for Colorado.  Pittsburgh will counter with Jameson Taillon.

>>Broncos Back To Work Today

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are back on the practice field today.  The Broncos will also practice tomorrow and Thursday as they gear up for their preseason opener Saturday at home against the Minnesota Vikings.

>>Former Broncos Executive Dies At 51

(Denver, CO)  —  Former Broncos personnel executive Tom Heckert has died at the age of 51.  The team said that he died Sunday evening surrounded by his family.  Heckert was diagnosed with an illness last year where abnormal proteins built up and formed deposits.
