>>Rockies Blank Nationals, Set For NL West Tiebreaker

(Denver, CO)  —  Charlie Blackmon hit for the cycle as the Rockies blanked the Nationals 12-0 at Coors Field.  The Rox finish the regular season tied for the NL West lead with the Dodgers, and will face them in a divisional tiebreaker today in LA.  Nolan Arenado homered twice for Colorado, while Tyler Anderson and two relievers combined on a five-hit shutout.

>>Rockies Meet Dodgers Today For Division

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  The NL West Division title is on the line later this afternoon when the Rockies take on the Dodgers in a tiebreaker game in LA.  The winner takes home the division crown and advances to the NL Division Series.  The loser will play in the NL wild card game.

>>Broncos Battle Chiefs On MNF

(Denver, CO)  —  The Broncos clash with the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC West matchup on Monday Night Football at Mile High. The Broncos are looking to bounce back from a Week Three loss at Baltimore.  Denver won home games over Seattle and Oakland to start the year.  The Broncos have lost five in a row to the Chiefs going back to 2015.  KC is 3-and-0.

>>Nuggets Sink Lakers

(San Diego, CA)  —  The Nuggets ruined LeBron James Lakers’ debut with a 124-107 preseason win in San Diego.  Jamal Murray tallied 18 points for Denver.  The teams meet again tomorrow in LA.

>>Avs Open Regular Season Thursday

(Denver, CO)  —  The Avalanche open up the regular season on Thursday night hosting the Minnesota Wild at the Pepsi Center.  The Avs wrapped up preseason play 3-and-3 following a 6-5 win in Dallas yesterday.

>>Buffaloes Jump Into Rankings

(Boulder, CO)  —  The Colorado Buffaloes are jumping into this week’s Top-25 Coaches’ Poll.  The Buffs are ranked 22nd after moving to 4-and-0 on the season with Friday’s 38-16 rout of UCLA.  CU hosts Arizona State this Saturday.  In other local college football action, Colorado State fell to 1-and-4 with a 35-19 home loss to Illinois State.  The Rams visit San Jose State this Saturday.
