>>Nuggets Open Homestand Tonight Against Nets

(Denver, CO)  —  The Nuggets open up a four-game homestand tonight against the Brooklyn Nets at the Pepsi Center.  Milwaukee, Houston and Atlanta will also come to town on the stand.  The Nuggets are 9-and-2 on the season.

>>Avs Visit Jets Tonight

(Winnipeg, Manitoba)  —  The Avalanche are north of the border to take on the Winnipeg Jets tonight.  Colorado will then visit Edmonton on Sunday before returning home.  The Avs have lost four straight to dip to 7-5-and-3.

>>Three Rockies Win Silver Slugger Awards

(Phoenix, AZ)  —  A trio of Rockies are taking home some hardware.  Shortstop Trevor Story, third baseman Nolan Arenado and pitcher German Marquez have all won Silver Slugger Awards at their respective positions.

>>Broncos Off This Weekend

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are on their bye week and will have Sunday off.  Denver will travel to LA to play the Chargers next weekend.  The 3-and-6 Broncos will play three of their next four games on the road.

>>College Hoops Roundup

(Undated)  —  In college basketball action last night, Colorado State opened the season with a 100-66 rout of Colorado Christian.  Colorado begins its season next week.  Air Force and Denver started with wins on Tuesday.

>>College Football Preview

(Undated)  —  The college locals are gearing up for their next games on the gridiron.  On Saturday, Colorado hosts eighth-ranked Washington State, Colorado State visits Nevada and Air Force entertains New Mexico.
