>>Broncos To Sign QB Keenum

(Denver, CO)  —  Free-agent quarterback Case Keenum is heading west.  ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Keenum intends to sign with the Broncos when contracts can be officially signed tomorrow.  Keenum had a breakout season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2017.  He threw for 3,547 yards, 22 touchdowns and just seven interceptions, helping the Vikings reach the NFC Championship Game.

>>Nuggets Visit Lakers Tonight

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  The Nuggets are in LA to take on the Lakers tonight.  Denver will then return home to host the Pistons on Thursday before heading out on a seven-game road trip starting Saturday in Memphis.  The Nuggets have won two in-a-row to improve to 37-and-30 on the season.  They are tied with Utah for eighth in the West but the Jazz currently hold the tiebreaker.

>>Avs Begin Brief Trek Tonight In Minnesota

(St. Paul, MN)  —  The Avalanche begin another brief two-game road swing tonight in Minnesota against the Wild.  The team will then head to Nashville to play the Predators on Thursday before returning home.  The Avs currently hold the second wild card spot in the West with 80 points.  The Wild are third in the Central Division with 85 points.

>>Rockies Finalize Deal With “Car-Go”

(Scottsdale, AZ)  —  The Rockies have finalized their one-year, five-million-dollar contract with outfielder Carlos Gonzalez.  “Car-Go” returns to the team he’s spent the last nine seasons with.  The 32-year-old hit .262 with 14 home runs and 57 RBI in 136 games last season.

>>Rockies Double Up D’backs

(Scottsdale, AZ)  —  Ryan McMahon had a two-run double as the Rockies doubled up the Diamondbacks 4-2 in Scottsdale.  Mike Tauchman and Tom Murphy also plated a run each for the Rox.  Starter Chad Bettis tossed five innings of two-run ball, while Antonio Senzatela pitched the final four scoreless frames.  The Rockies host the Mariners today.
