>>Nuggets Hammered By Hawks

(Denver, CO)  —  Gary Harris had a game-high 25 points but it wasn’t enough as the Nuggets were hammered by the Hawks 110-97 at the Pepsi Center.  Will Barton added 15 off the bench for Denver, which has lost three straight for the first time this season.  The Nuggets host Memphis tomorrow.

>>Broncos Tab McMahon As Special Teams Coordinator

(Englewood, CO)  —  Tom McMahon is the new special teams coordinator of the Denver Broncos.  McMahon spent the last five seasons in the same role with the Indianapolis Colts.  The Broncos also named Greg Williams defensive backs coach, Zach Azzanni wide receivers coach and promoted Chris Strausser to offensive line-tackles coach.

>>Avs’ MacKinnon Named All-Star

(Denver, CO)  —  The rosters for the 2018 NHL All-Star Game in Tampa are out.  Forward Nathan MacKinnon will be the lone representative for the Avalanche later this month in Tampa.  MacKinnon has 18 goals and 34 assists in 41 games this season.

>>Avs Off Until Saturday

(Denver, CO)  —  The red-hot Avalanche are off the ice a few more days before taking their five-game winning streak to Dallas on Saturday to face the Stars.  Colorado has been idle since a 7-2 rout of Minnesota this past Saturday.  The Avs sit at 22-16-and-3 on the year.

>>College Hoops Roundup

(Undated)  —  In college basketball action, Colorado lost 70-58 at USC, while Colorado State won 84-75 at Utah State.  The Buffs visit UCLA on Saturday.  The Rams are at Wyoming also on Saturday.  Meanwhile, Denver visits North Dakota State tonight.
