>>Rockies Lose Rubber Match To Pirates

(Denver, CO)  —  Corey Dickerson’s sac-fly RBI in the eighth inning was the difference as the Pirates clipped the Rockies 4-3 at Coors Field.  David Dahl drilled a two-run homer in the fourth inning and Ryan McMahon singled in a run in the eighth to pull the Rockies within one.  German Marquez suffered the loss.  Colorado has dropped six of its last eight games.

>>Rockies Open Huge Series With Dodgers Tonight

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies open up a huge four-game series with the Dodgers tonight at Coors Field.  Tyler Anderson will get the ball for Colorado.  LA will counter with Ross Stripling.  The Rockies enter the night three games behind Arizona for first place in the NL West.

>>Broncos Continue Practice

(Englewood, CO)  —  The Broncos are back on the practice field today as they prepare for their preseason opener on Saturday at home against the Minnesota Vikings.  Denver will also host the Bears before visiting Washington and Arizona to close out the four-game exhibition slate.  The Broncos begin the regular-season September 9th hosting the Seattle Seahawks.

>>Rapids Trade Azira To Montreal

(Commerce City, CO)  —  The Colorado Rapids are trading midfielder Michael Azira to the Montreal Impact in exchange for a 2020 fourth round draft pick.  The Rapids are back on the pitch Saturday hosting the San Jose Earthquakes.  Colorado remains 11th in the Western Conference with 20 points.
