>>Rockies Lose To Dodgers Late

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies gave up seven runs over the final three innings as they lost to the Dodgers 8-5 in the first of four at Coors Field.  Chris Iannetta smacked a three-run homer in the sixth that gave the Rox a 5-3 lead, before the bullpen blew it.  Wade Davis suffered the loss, Colorado’s third straight.

>>Rockies Activate Rusin From DL

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies activated reliever Chris Rusin from the 10-day disabled list yesterday and optioned pitcher Yency Almonte to Triple-A Albuquerque.  Rusin was out with plantar fasciitis.

>>Rockies Resume Series With LA

(Denver, CO)  —  The Rockies and Dodgers resume their four-game series tonight at Coors Field.  Jon Gray will get the ball for Colorado seeking his 10th win of the season.  LA will counter with Kenta Maeda.

>>Broncos Kickoff Preseason Tomorrow

(Denver, CO)  —  The Broncos kickoff the preseason tomorrow night hosting the Minnesota Vikings.  Denver will then host Chicago before visiting Washington and Arizona to close out the four-game exhibition slate.  The Broncos begin the regular-season September 9th hosting the Seattle Seahawks.

>>Rapids Hose San Jose Tomorrow

(Commerce City, CO)  —  The Colorado Rapids aim for a second straight win tomorrow when they clash with the San Jose Earthquakes at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.  The Rapids beat the LA Galaxy 2-1 last Saturday but remain 11th in the West with 20 points.
