Drought Conditions Increase

Drought conditions across Colorado continue to increase.  The latest numbers from the U.S. Drought Monitor are showing 76-percent of Colorado in the moderate drought stage including Colorado Springs and Pueblo.  That’s up from 34-percent last week and reflects the lack of snow so far this winter.  Currently, 99-percent of the state is at least abnormally dry, with severe drought conditions in the southwest quarter of the state.
