CDOT Employee Charged With Stealing

Denver’s district attorney plans to prosecute a former employee of the state Department of Transportation for theft, forgery and other charges.  Chris Wedor allegedly took nearly 30-thousand-dollars from CDOT while working as the agency’s audit director.  Wedor reportedly charged personal expenses such as a Christmas tree and gift cards using state credit accounts.  Wedor faces 17 felony charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this week.
